PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING
Detention Center and Correctional Facility Services
Healing Crossroads’ therapists provide individualized mental health services to inmates at correctional facilities and detention centers. Their emphasis is on the various levels of mental health screening techniques to diagnose and measure mental health illness or disability. Healing Crossroads’ therapists strive to create an impartial, empathetic and balanced environment. Often times, inmates minimize or exaggerate their psychological symptoms for personal gain or a favorable outcome of their case. However, Healing Crossroads’ therapists use sophisticated interventions and measurements to properly evaluate the client and form an impartial, unbiased and credible opinion. Their therapists will travel to any location within the state of California to assist the client with their psychological needs. When a legal issue arises with a psychological component, an extensive psychological evaluation along with expert testimony makes a significant impact.
Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
